OLLI@UM FALL classes begin SEPTEMBER 6th. Many of our classes will fill up quickly.
OLLI classes begin on Tuesday, September 6th.
The best way to secure your seat in a class is to register yourself online. Classes for Fall sessions will fill up, so registering yourself online is the best way to secure your seat. However, you can also contact our office to register!

Founded in 1984 as the Institute for Retired Professionals, OLLI offers members an ongoing menu of programs such as languages, history, literature, the arts, current events and world affairs, to name just a few. With expert instructors, including UM faculty, courses are designed for students aged 50 and over, high-level and high-interest, without being high-stress.
At the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Miami, you'll find a world of new experiences with a changing catalog of courses that will be sure to interest you. But, beyond the program's rich offerings, you'll find a community of new friends from fascinating backgrounds, each on his or her own quest to continue to enrich understanding of the world around them.

Course Evaluations »
Your feedback on your OLLI at UM courses is important to us. The Curriculum Committee uses information gathered in aggregate from the course evaluations submitted to us as they plan and make decisions about future class offerings. We thank you for your willingness to evaluate your OLLI at UM courses.
Teach a course
Our instructors and class facilitators are volunteers! If you are a prospective instructor interested in volunteering to teach a course, please fill out our Course Proposal Form and email it to email@example.com. We have a 'teach a class, take a class' policy. Our OLLI volunteer instructors can register for an OLLI class tuition-free in exchange for teaching. Join us and teach your passion!
