Course Description:

In this course, you will compile vignettes and life stories, using prompts to recall your life for posterity and for your family members. You will be invited to use old photos to start the process of remembering parents, relatives, children, and grandchildren as well as other people, places, and events in your life.  The instructor will guide your journey back into the past and share techniques that will assist you with getting your life “on the page.”  

Week 1 Capturing Life from a Photo.

Week 2 Using Your Senses of Smell and Taste as Techniques to Write Your Memoir.

Week 3 Writing to Prompts to Recall Childhood and Family Characters.

Week 4 Describing Your Early 20s – Tips on the elusive art of recalling the past.

Week 5 Writers Recall Pivotal Moments of Their Lives.

Week 6 Members gather their writing, share, ask questions and take notes.
