Jewelry Making (In-Person Only)

Course description:  In this course you will learn many jewelry techniques. You are probably going to be surprised by how little time it takes to create something that you will be proud to wear. In this class, you will be learning the secrets of making a successful jewelry creation (technique, style, and function).

Note: The instructor will provide the beads.


Week 1

Recognizing the tools and their functions.

Week 2

Defining symmetrical, asymmetrical, and radial balance.

Week 3

Using crimp beads,  opening and closing a jump ring, and measuring string correctly.

Week 4

Attaching chains to a multi-strand divider.

Week 5

Executing several wire-wrapping techniques: simple loop, wrapped loop, and a loop with chain.

Week 6

Finish pieces.
