French Culture Through Film (In-Person Only)

Course Description: In a series of three French films, this course proposes to show intercultural differences between the French and the American cultures.  Films will be viewed during class, in half segments.  A guided discussion in English will follow.  All films in French with English subtitles.


Week 1 View first half of Ressourses Humaines.

Week 2 View second half of Ressources Humaines; discussion.

Week 3 View first half of Les invités de mon père.  

Week 4 View second half of Les invités de mon père; discussion.

Week 5 View first half of film Au Revoir là-haut; discussion about key points.  

Week 6 View second half of Au Revoir là-haut; discussion.
