Medical Office Administration

The University of Miami Medical Office Administration Certificate Program prepares participants to communicate with clients and insurance companies, collect data from patients to assist in managing their accounts, and oversee the ordering of medical and office supplies. An earned Certificate of Completion, the terminology used by NCCT for eligibility, would satisfy the NCCT education requirement for NCCT Certification eligibility. In addition, our Medical Office Administration Program is designed to prepare participants for the National Health Career Association Certification which is the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA).

PROGRAM OUTCOMES
