Fred Pullen, M.D.

Fred Pullen, M.D.

Dr. Fred Pullen studied bacteriology at the University of Michigan. He received his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School, where he published his first of many peer-reviewed scientific articles and several books. He continued his studies at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary Otorhinolaryngology.

Dr. Pullen served in the United States Air Force as an ear, nose, and throat specialist, where he obtained a Major rank. After his service, he returned to academic medicine at the University of Miami, becoming a clinical professor in the Otolaryngology department. For over 30 years, his ENT practice has focused on Allergy. He is also a co-author of "Allergies on the Rise, Solutions for Primary Care," a book that has benefited over 3,000 physicians in the United States. Dr. Pullen is also a recipient of the Honor Award from the American Academy of Otolaryngology.

Bjorn Herman, M.D.

Dr. Bjorn Herman graduated from Yale University before receiving his M.D. from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He then completed his Otolaryngology residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami. Dr. Herman is an Assistant Professor in the University of Miami’s Department of Otolaryngology. As a General Otolaryngologist, Dr. Herman has a particular interest in Rhinology and Allergy and has developed the ENT department’s allergy program at its satellite practices.

Frank Lichtenberger, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Frank Lichtenberger has been a practicing board-certified allergist in North Carolina since he finished his Fellowship training at the National Institutes of Health. His peers and industry recognize him as an expert and thought leader in the conditions of Primary Immunodeficiency, Hereditary Angioedema, and Mast Cell Disorders. He has an independent grant to study mast cell-related inflammation markers and is active in internationally sponsored clinical trials. Dr. Lichtenberger is "a student of how the modern environment results in disordered inflammation." His wife and two young children keep him busy, but he stays active with his indoor hydroponic gardening hobbies.

Lauren Fine, M.D.

Lauren Fine, M.D.

Dr. Lauren Fine is an Internal Medicine trained board-certified Allergist and Immunologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. She is a graduate of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and currently works as an Assistant Professor of Medical Education at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida.

She attended the University of Illinois for her Internal Medicine Internship, followed by the remainder of her Internal Medicine Residency and Allergy/Immunology Fellowship at the University of Minnesota. Her clinical career began with the development of an Allergy/Immunology Clinic at the University of Miami. In 2017, she joined Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine at Nova Southeastern University to help launch a new medical school and build a pre-clerkship Clinical Skills curriculum.

Her main passion is teaching in the physician-patient relationship, shared-decision-making, and communication. She maintains a clinic one day a week at the William Bill Kling VA Clinic in Sunrise, Florida. She loves to bake, travel, and spend time with her kids.

Marcos Sanchez-Gonzalez, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Sanchez-Gonzalez has 15 years of experience in academic institutions at various levels, which has given him a broad understanding of healthcare and medical education. He has researched in universities and hospital settings on quality improvement and patient outcomes. He has coached postdoctoral fellows and graduate students in their research projects, thesis, and dissertations.

As a physiologist, he has contributed to the development of biomedical devices for scientific research and medical use. As an investigator, Dr. Sanchez-Gonzalez is a Junior Investigator with the National Institute of Health (NIH) Minority Programs to Increase Diversity Among Individuals Engaged in Health-Related Research (PRIDE-CGE) and grant reviewer.

Syed Rizvi, Ph.D.

Dr. Rizvi is a Professor of Pharmacy with over twenty-four years of experience in teaching and researching in various colleges and universities and eight years of Industrial experience. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles, including journal publications, book chapters, books, US patents, and oral presentations. Dr. Rizvi also serves on the Editorial Boards and Panels of different journals and reviews manuscripts and books for over 150 well-known scientific publications.

His research interests include clinical and translational research, including clinical trials, pharmaceutical formulations, Biopharmaceuticals and Vaccine development, Medicinal and Natural Product Chemistry, and Pharmaceutical Analysis.

Some of his clients include United Healthcare, Cigna, Kaiser Permanente, Humana, Banner Health, and Providence Health and Services. He was featured in CNN Money, FOX News, The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Denver Post, NPR, Bloomberg Business Week, CFO Magazine, and Becker’s Hospital Review.

Michael enjoys working with his fellow team members to develop advanced ideas and concepts to obtain the best possible results. He is currently a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the states of Missouri and Colorado
